Many legends surround the aftermath of the collapse of The Federation, including the fate of Kerr Avon... What happened to Avon after the death of Blake and the crew of the Scorpio? Paul Darrow's vivid re-imagining picks up Avon's story at the final moments of the final episode of Blake's 7 and follows him on his fight for survival.

I very much enjoyed 'Lucifer' and it being written by Paul Darrow gave it extra interest. It is in a different style to what you might envisage; but that is not necessarily a criticism. It explains with clarity Avon's fate after he shot Blake and his future as an exile. Avon is still a dynamic and brilliant man who waits his chance to regain what he has lost, albeit older and in an environment you don't really expect. The book also deals with some of his emotions after he took Blake's life and how he is viewed by future administrations when they realise he still lives. In particular his old adversary Servalan. I would recommend 'Lucifer' to anyone who loved "Blakes 7". After all, we all hoped it didn't end at the end of Series 4 and with this book it doesn't.Product details

Lucifer Blake 7 Paul Darrow 9781781781104 Books Reviews
excellent
Great read! 4 stars only because of no Vila. Blake Schmake! He and Avon have always been my favorite characters!
This is so much better than Blake's 7 Afterlife by Tony Attwood. I look forward to finishing reading it soon.
Great story by Paul Darrow. I was thrilled to finally learn Avon's fate. I am looking forward to the next two instalments!
A solid end series to the whole bb C series.
From the moment I started reading, to the moment I finished, I could not put it down and simply walk away without forcing myself. Avon is more vivid than ever! Paul's writing is exquisite! Thoroughly enjoyed everything about this book. Now, onto the second book, which I just purchased. Thanks Paul!!
I should start by saying I am a huge Blakes 7 fan, and that Avon was always my favorite character. Take the review with that information in mind. The last episode of the series was deliberately left somewhat open, leading fans to always wonder what happened next? Lucifer answers those questions, carrying the story of Avon and some of the other characters forward. The plot continuation is satisfying, as we switch back and forth between the present time and flashbacks to show the unseen events of the final scene of the final episode. The escape of Avon from seeming death is not overly contrived and the writing was in keeping with the best of the series. If anyone should know the Avon character, it is Darrow. He brings us right back to the fast-paced action and political twists and turns and sardonic wit that made the show so entertaining. Fans of the show, and particularly of Avon, will find the book impossible to put down.
